Your First Appointment
Your first appointment at Lynn Dental Care will include a comprehensive oral examination and an in-depth consultation with our Dallas dentist, Dr. Lynn. As a periodontist with years of experience in orthodontics as well, Dr. Lynn can clearly explain your diagnosis and discuss all available treatment options. He will answer your questions and listen to your concerns. At Lynn Dental Care, we don’t just treat teeth. We treat people. As soon as you experience the individual attention and genuine compassion provided by Dr. Lynn and every member of our team, you know that you’ve discovered a different kind of general and cosmetic dental office.
We Value Your Time
We strive to provide a complete examination and financial consultation on the day of your initial appointment with Lynn Dental Care. However, we never rush the diagnosis or treatment process—you and your smile are far too important for that. Not all Dallas cosmetic dentistry offices care enough to put their guests first, but Dr. Lynn keeps in mind your comfort and your needs instead of rushing treatments. If your medical history or oral health care are complex, we may perform the evaluation the first day and schedule a second appointment for a treatment consultation to discuss your dental choices.
Preparing for Your Visit
We, at Lynn Dental Care, request that you provide the following information when you visit our office for your first consultation:
- Your previous dental provider name and phone number so that we may request your dental records and x-rays
- Your insurance card if you have any dental coverage
- Complete list of medications (including prescription, over the counter, and herbal) that you are currently taking
- Your new patient forms are located on our website under the Patient Forms. Once you finish filling out this form, it will be digitally transmitted to us. Completing these prior to your appointment will save you time. This convenience matters in an age of technology and in a fast-paced city like Dallas, TX. We can also provide you with the forms that you need by mail, email, or even fax.
Any patient under 18 years of age must be accompanied by his or her parent or legal guardian.
For your safety, be sure to tell Lynn Dental Care about any medical condition (i.e. high blood pressure, rheumatic fever, artificial heart valves and joints, diabetes, etc.) that you have and any medications (i.e. aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, heart medications, etc.) that you are taking prior to your surgery.
